WHAT IS GELLYBALL?
Gellyball is a super low-impact sport that is suitable for all ages! It utilizes "gellyball blasters" which are easy-to-use guns with low pressure. Unlike Nerf, you won't constantly be reloading and you'll be able to stay in the game much longer!
WHAT ARE GELLYBALL BLASTERS?
Gellyball blasters are fully-automatic electronic guns, shooting around 10 balls per second! However, we do tell the players to shoot in “bursts” – just a quick pull on the trigger. The hoppers hold around 750 gellyballs and can be reloaded easily. These guns will accurately shoot a distance of 100 feet!
WHAT ARE GELLYBALLS (AMMO)?
Have you ever used/played with water beads or Orbeez? Gellyballs are very similar. They are absorbent polymer beads that expand when soaked in water. Not only do they leave no mess or stain, but they're biodegradable and non-toxic. No cleanup required!
DOES IT HURT?
Since the guns use low pressure, getting hit with a gellyball may feel like a tiny snap of a rubber band (if shot in close range). Most of the time, everyone is shooting from farther away so there's no sting at all. To avoid any type of sting, just be sure to cover up with clothes!
WILL GELLYBALL RUIN MY YARD?
No! In fact, if some gellyballs end up in a neighbor's yard, they won't even notice. When a gellyball makes contact with someone/something, the skin breaks and disintegrates. There is absolutely no cleanup required when holding an event outdoors. If you happen to find any remnants on a back patio or impermeable surface, simply blow or sweep off and move on!
WHERE DO YOU OPERATE?
Our family lives in Tomball and that's where we store our supplies. We are a 100% mobile company so we go to you! For now, we operate almost anywhere in the Houston area. In the near future, we may start charging per mile if we have to drive outside of a specific zone.
WHY ONLY 10 PLAYERS?
Our packages include equipment for up to 10 players but you can always add more (for an extra cost)! We do this because our games are 5v5 so it makes it an easy "minimum" number. We can always play with less or more depending on the size of your event. For events with more than 20 players, please contact us before booking so we can talk about specific logistics!
